The girls ran in Springdale today. The weather was perfect, the coolest it has been. We went on Thursday to run the course and the girls decided to not wear their spikes because there were parts of the course that was gravel. Elizabeth went out in front of the pack and I was surprised to see her behind the tractor. I think she was just as shocked as we were and she smiled and said, "I'm winning!" It was so fun for her. She led for the first mile and then ended up finishing 4th overall (3rd in little schools) with a big PR of 12:27.19. Anna and Kate had great races too, finishing 8th (5th) and 10th (6th) with times of 12:50.95 (Anna) and 12:49.81 (Kate). Peepaw was there to see the race, too! St. Vincent de Paul girls team won the team as well.
