Chile Pepper Running Festival

The girls ran in their first Chile Pepper 5k today. Jack only got to run in this race once because of COVID and he only ran the 2 mile. It was the first experience with a 5k cross country race for the girls. They had some pretty big goals to finish under 20 minutes. It got hot very quick, and they ran a great race. Kate as almost under 20, with a time of 20:02.3. She finished 6th out of 363 7/8/9th grade girls. Anna finished 11th with a time of 20:43.5 and Elizabeth finished 18th with at time of 21:08.3.
