The girls ran in their last meet of the season today at the Mountie Classic at Rogers High School. They were supposed to run tomorrow, but they changed it because it rained all day Monday and Tuesday and the course tomorrow gets really muddy so they were unsure if they would hold it. This course did have some water spots (about 5) that were pretty deep the kids had to run through. It was chilly, too, but a good day to run. The rain did stop about an hour before the girls had to run. They ran well to finish the season. They all ran PRs. Kate finished second with 12:07.78. Anna was third with a 12:18.43 and Elizabeth was fourth with a time of 12:19.43. This meet had all the junior highs combined together competing for their high schools in 7/8/9th. SVdP actually finished 3rd as a team against all the big schools. They are happy with their end to the cross country season. They are ready to play some basketball. They went straight from the meet to basketball practice!
