Seven Months Old

The girls are now seven months old! Today, I got the first picture of the three of them ALL smiling at once!

Anna is 10 lbs. 10.5 oz. 24.25 inches long and her head was 41 cm.

Elizabeth is 9 lbs. 13 oz. 23.75 inches long. Her head is 41 cm.

Kate is 9 lbs. 12.5 oz. 23.75 inches long. Her head is 40.5 cm.

Cereal

Today, we started rice cereal with the girls. It was quite an experience. Unlike our first feeding with Jack, in which we could not get the spoon in his mouth fast enough, all three girls were not fond of the cereal. I sat in the middle of them and fed them from the same dish and spoon. They didn't seem to mind the wait between spoonfulls (I guess since they didn't like it to begin with). All three made faces. Kate spit everything out. Anna starting crying after a few rounds and was happy then with her pacifier. Elizabeth probably tolerated it the best, but didn't eagerly want more. I acutally threw away baby food. This is a first in our home-haha!

Tulips and Crocuses

The first sign of spring--our tulips are coming up and we actually had one of the crocuses bloom! Hopefully the snow tomorrow doesn't kill them!

Who Would Have Guessed

Today, we finally hit a big milestone at our house. Kate rolled over from her back to stomach! I would have never guessed in a million years she would be the first to do this, but she did tonight. Finally, after four kids, I finally have a child that rolls. (Jack was well over 11 months before he did anything in the way of movement--crawling, rolling, etc.). I will take a guess and say Elizabeth will be next only because she thinks she is the biggest, although Anna is the strongest by far, she should have been rolling a few months ago!

It's Not Easy Being Green

Today, on St. Patrick's Day, we spent most of the day outside since we had crystal blue skies and mid 60 degree weather! Nicholas came over and played with Jack all afternoon and into the evening. I thought it would be a fun to make green food for dinner for the boys. So, they had green eggs and ham, green banana pancakes with granola and green milk! And, they liked it and cleaned their plates! I think I will have to make this a tradition!

A Little Creativity

It just takes a little creativity. The last few days have been picture perfect! So, in order to enjoy them to the fullest...we got creative with the girls. Why shouldn't they enjoy the beautiful weather too?

He Loves His Sisters

He really loves his sisters. Here he is entertaining them (they were playing cards together) while I was getting the bottles made.

The mornings are getting a little easier around here now that the girls are starting to hold their own bottles. They need a little help when the bottles are full, but are doing great with them. Jack still seems to think they need the help--I think he has seen me do this a few times, don't you think?
