Easter Day!

We started Easter day by going to mass. During mass, the Easter bunny dropped off baskets and goodies for the kids and left a bunch of eggs outside. Jack found the gum and really didn't even want to open any of his Easter gifts or find the eggs! We finally got him to leave the gum and find the eggs. The girls watched from their stroller.

Can't believe we have four baskets this year!
The girls with their new water bottles. No fighting, they all have different colors and each one has their name on it.

Grandmom helps Jack

After the egg hunt, we enjoyed a great dinner and relaxed most of the day. All the kids took naps and were asleep at the same time for a short while! We enjoyed having grandparents here to celebrate Easter!!

Anna fell asleep twice in Granddad's arms today. She loves to be held!

We are really working hard with the girls to learn to sit up better.

Easter Egg Hunt and Coloring Eggs

Grandmom and Granddad are visiting us this weekend which is so nice! We enjoy the extra help and they love seeing the kids. I can't even tell Jack they are coming until the day of because he constantly asks me multiple times a day when they are coming. Today, they took him to the Easter Egg hunt at the church accross the street from us. He had a great time and came home very excited to show me all his eggs. He collected 50 eggs! I still think it is cute he calls his eggs, "Easter Egg Hunts" and carried thema ll over the house today.

We also colored eggs today. Jack did pretty well with them this year. He did manage to spill one cup right at the very end, but we had fun! Grandmom helped him.

I have to say the eggs are not the prettiest this year...John bought the coloring kit and it was some monster kit (see the hair glued on to some of the eggs?). I think I'll buy the kit next year.

Grandmom and Jack's Pictures

I know there are many pictures. I picked up my camera tonight and realized that my mom and Jack, who were taking pictures today with my camera, took 54 pictures. So, here are the best ones.

Monkey?

Remember when I told you the girls were getting better at holding their bottles? Well, I don't think I mentioned that they are trying REALLY hard. Especially Elizabeth. Her hands are the smallest. No problem, she'll figure out a way to get that heavy bottle in her mouth!

Playtime with Granddad

My dad loves to throw kids up and catch them. He did this to my siblings and I growing up and now has continued the tradition with his grandkids. The kids LOVE when Granddad throws them up "way up to the sky!"

This picture is kind of dark, but I love Jack's face. All smiles!
Jack got a hair cut today. What a cutie!

'Tis the Season

I remember these dirty feet from last summer. Mind you, Jack had a bath probably a hour before this picture...then decided to go outside again...without shoes!

Play Date Outside

We had some friends over today and took advantage of the nice weather to play outside. We wore short sleeves for the first time this year! It was a fun day!

The dresses came from their cousin- Marie!

Jack decided he needed his robe on--so he went inside and came out with it on! After a while, I think he was hot because he took it off!
Good friends, warm weather--nothing better
Anna and Kate
The girls with their newest best friend, Eleanor. I think they will be life long friends!
When it was time to put the girls down for a nap and everyone left, I took Anna and Elizabeth upstairs and left Jack in charge of Elizabeth. When I came back outside, I found them like this and making her laugh. All three girls just adore their big brother!
