Outside
Today is supposed to be the nicest day of the week, so we played outside while Jack was at a friend's house. Our snow is pretty much gone, but we are supposed to get some more this week.

Princess and Superhero Ball
We took the kids to the Princess and Superhero Ball today. The Avon Lake PTA put it on and I was going to take the girls, but Jack wanted to go to (probably for the pizza and cupcakes!) so we all went. Jack might have been a tad on the old side, and he did not have a superhero costume, but he had fun with the balloon sword and dancing. The girls were so excited! I told them we were going to to meet the princesses and they were squealing with delight! They also could not believe they got to wear their dress-up clothes out of the house. They loved Belle the best, then probably Cinderella. I think they didn't really know who Ariel was--her costume was not quite as good and they really haven't watched the Little Mermaid. The girls danced and danced! It was so much fun to see them so excited to see the princesses and to watch them dance together.
Waiting to get their picture taken
The best we could do with all four kids.
Meeting Cinderella
Jack wanted his picture taken with Cinderella too.
Meeting Belle
Belle is probably the girls' favorite princess

The girls had Cinderella to themselves at one point!

This man was huge!
Love that Kate took off her shoes. Must be a girl thing that doesn't need to be taught!

Two Hoops
Jack had his last basketball game today. He made two baskets and probably put up another four-to-five shots. This was the most he has touched the ball all season. It was pretty neat to watch him become more interested in the game all season and today he was so aggressive! He rebounded the ball half dozen times which is why he was able to shoot and score as much as he did. He ran after the ball and at the end of the game, his cheeks were red and he was sweating! He will start a YMCA basketball league in two weeks and begin practicing once a week too. I am so glad we signed him up for another season of basketball after watching his last game. He loves playing. I got a few pictures, but we video taped most of it too.
Under the basket ready to rebound
He has the ball right now--just blurred.
Jack's shot--this one I don't think went in
He is in the back of the picture with the ball
Another shot from Jack. I don't think this one went in either.
They love to watch Jack play back-es-ball
This is one of his shots he made
