Pet Parade

We went to the Pet Parade in La Grange last Saturday. It could be the longest parade I have ever been too. It lasted close to two hours. Jack and his friends were on a sugar high by the end of the parade considering all the candy and suckers that were thrown their way. Considering the name of the parade, it wasn't just a bunch of people walking their dogs along the street. We did see a few dog walkers (one wiener dog with a mustard back and buns on his side), but most of the parade was bands, fire engines, clowns, gymnasts and everything else you would typically see in a parade. We had a good time, it was a nice cool morning, and beautiful day to be outside with friends.
