Jack's Tee Ball and Kate's Turn

Jack had his first T-Ball game tonight. It was quite funny to watch a team of three year olds play t-ball. I am not sure he got the concept of the game, but I think he had fun. It was a two inning game and each team allowed every player a turn to bat each inning. The last player hit a "home run" and all the kids ran the bases home. In both innings, Jack was the final hitter. He played in the pitcher position in the first inning and actually ran to get one ball and underhand threw it to first base after a lot of yelling. In the second inning, he played third base and pretty much sat the entire inning next to one of his friends. Well, it was fun to watch at least and I think he did fine and had fun!

Jack is on the red team. He is the one with the baseball hat on backwards.

Kate was the lucky one today! She clapped for her brother!

Anna was crabby, but these two ended up playing back to back. Oh, and as of yesterday, Kate is doing the army crawl. Two down, one to go!

Lawn Mower

He wants to be like daddy. Here he is mowing the lawn--just like his dad.

PeePaw!

Oh, how the kids love PeePaw. Probably because he is a big kid himself! And, since he lives in Las Vegas, when he comes to town, the kids are loving every minute of him! We were able to see him some on Saturday and most of today.

Somehow, he was able to convince the older cousins to let him feed the girls lunch.

First time in a baby pool. They all liked the warm water Aunt Sue Sue got ready for them. However, shortly after this picture, Anna began crawling away and slipped and fell. After the incident, she wasn't very keen on playing in the pool.

I had high hopes for getting a cute picture here, but it wasn't going to happen today. Elizabeth was clapping, Kate was dancing and Anna was crying.
PeePaw and Jack
You know where this is headed.
Jack went down the first time by himself and didn't realize how fast he would go. He is not a huge fan of getting his eyes wet. After the first trip, he would go down really slow. Then, he went down with Jake and loved every second of it!
Ah, to be a kid again in the summertime! Jack's face says it all. Pure bliss!

Cousins

We were able to spend time with my brother and his family on Saturday morning. All the older kids picked wild raspberries with Granddad, Grandmom and Uncle Neil. They all had little bowls of berries they came back with and loved them! Jack's hands and face were stained red! It is fun to watch the kids grow up together. Even though Jack doesn't see the Szczepanski boys that often, we watched them play like they see each other every day. I can really tell a difference in Jack this summer as far as playing with the cousins. And, the little girls...well, they will be just as fun to watch as they grow up together!

This is Elizabeth's new trick. She doesn't move, but she is trying to pull herself up!

Maria woke up and joins in on the fun! Now, if only the little Texan, Marie was here...
Anna: "Hey, I wish Marie was here."
Kate: "Me, too. I miss her."
Elizabeth: "Well, we get to see her in a few weeks."
Maria: "At least these balls are interesting..."
Anna: "And they taste good, too."
