Hilger's Pumpkin Farm

Since we pass a pumpkin patch on the way to preschool, Jack has been asking when we will go to pick out a pumpkin. We ventured out to Hilger's to pick out a pumpkin today. I forgot to take a picture of the pumpkin Jack picked, but it was one of those pumpkins that look like they have warts all over them. Needless-to-say, we let him have that one, but we also got one we could carve. It was a beautiful day! Grandmom and Granddad met us there and Mimi was able to come too. Besides picking out a pumpkin, the kids really enjoyed playing in the straw mazes and tunnels. The girls absolutely love the straw. Jack, John and I went on a hayride, too. It was a fun time!

Jack was all over the cats. He chased them and picked them up the entire time we were there.

I love Anna's little face in this picture. She is so proud to be standing!

Elizabeth probably loved the tunnels the most. She would crawl through, turn around and crawl back.

Kate in the tunnel. None of the girls were afraid to crawl through these.
