They practiced for the first 20 minutes, then played a game. Jack has improved so much from last year. He got a rebound today and guarded his player (they use wrist bands in different colors to know who to guard). His team consists of kindergartners and first graders.
Girls playing with baby dolls and barbies on the bleachers.
Oh, and purses, of course!
Anna clapping and cheering! The girls would clap "for Jack" even when he wasn't playing. And clap for baskets--from either team.
Next stop: Football game
Again they practiced for about 20 minutes and then played a game for 40 minutes. Jack's team is all kindergartners--mostly from St. Joseph.
Drills--
Jack is number 11. He is one of the tallest kids on his team.
Jack and his buddy Sean (facing each other). Sean is so little compared to Jack.
Jack carrying the ball. He weaved around sideways (and backwards too) but he did advance the ball.
He still has the ball here
Right before his flag was pulled
Catherine loves the girls. She is Sean's older sister and was in Jack's class last year. Such a sweet girl.
