Today, Jack had his first golf tournament through the First Tee. The seven and eight year-old kids played three holes. Jack shot 23 (7-7-9). He had problems on his last hole hitting it in the sand trap and then over hitting the green out of bounds. He told me the lucky ball he picked out before he started playing was not going to be used next week since he went out of bounds. He has a goal next week to improve this score.
I was his caddy. The girls tried to stay out of the way. They really need to learn golf etiquette, and I suppose they will since they will be walking these holes every Friday this summer for these tournaments. Anna actually picked up a golf ball as we walked by...whoops!
