Softball Season Ends

The girls ended their season with a double hitter tonight. They lost their first game, but came back strong to win the second game. Elizabeth has totally mastered the bunt. She has been afraid of the ball coming so fast out of the pitching machine since the beginning of the season, so she didn't get a hit until she asked if she could bunt (probably seeing this in Jack's games). Since she began bunting, she has hit in each game. She had three hits tonight. Kate hits the ball really well. She bats second in the line up and has some great strength when she swings the bat! Anna has no fear of the ball and play pitcher very well. She grounds balls and is very intense in this position. Kate mostly played third this season, but she wanted to try out catcher tonight, so she and Elizabeth did. Elizabeth played center most of the season and was quick to run after those hard hit balls. The three of them learned so much this season and had a lot fun with their friends, too.
