The girls competed in state. It was a beautiful day, low 70s and sunny. Kate and Elizabeth ran in the 4x800 relay at 11:30 and they broke the state meet record 9:17.32. Elizabeth split 2:22 and Kate split 2:19. Then they both ran in the 1600m, Elizabeth 5:06.47 (5th) and Kate was 6th (5:06.66). Then Anna and Kate ran the 800m. Anna was 8th 2:20.42 and Kate ran 2:24.43 (9th). This was Anna's first race back from her back injury. Then Elizabeth ran the 3200 (11:03.31) and Kate split 62 in the 4x400 to help her team finish 6th. Rogers team finished T3. It was a quick meet, with the events starting back up at 4:30 and finishing before 7pm. Elizabeth ran 11.5 miles! They rode the bus back to Rogers and got back at 1:30am!
