The Sweetest Little Boy

Tonight, when I was vaccuming the upstairs, John and Jack were downstairs with the girls. John was dusting and Jack was helping. I came down when I was done, and noticed Elizabeth under her play mat. I looked closer and realized she was holding Jack's most important possession in the world--his Bella. When I asked him about it, he said he gave it to her to hold since she was crying. Melts my heart.

Doll Baby

I did not do this. I will admit, I have thought about it, but never had the courage to actually try it. Leave it to my mother to put one of our kids in the doll baby stroller. At least she strapped her in!

Grandmom and Granddad Come for the Weekend

Grandmom and Granddad decided early Saturday morning to come for a quick visit. We love having them come to visit, especially Jack! It was great to see them and they enjoyed seeing the girls. Plus, my dad brought us a truck load of wood for our fires! I got some good pictures of the weekend. I also pulled out the video camera today. I realized the girls are almost six months old--how did that happen? They are cooing so much and will imitate and talk back to you if you talk to them. They also laugh out loud. I can't get enough of a baby's belly laugh, so I thought I should get it on the camera so someday I can pull it out to hear it again and again. It was a fun weekend, just don't ask John advice about playing Tripoly, haha!

Grandmom and Elizabeth. While I was editing the pictures,I noticed a pattern...That little Elizabeth loves to be held...
Mama holding Elizabeth

Such a great helper--that little Jack is!

All the girls are working on holding their bottles which I am really looking forward to.This picture is staged, Elizabeth tries hard to hold the bottle by herself, but really can't. Plus when the bottles are full, none of the girls are strong enough to come close to holding the bottle. But, at least they all know where their hands should be!

I love this picture of the girls looking at Grandmom
She was teaching them how to talk. If they are anything like their brother when they start talking we are in for some long conservations with four kids!
I love this picture too.

Is January Over Yet?

Is January over yet? The winter season seems like it is lasting f o r e v e r!! This week, we had some friends come over on Thursday. Jack loves to play with Ethan and I enjoy seeing Michelle. She is getting ready for her second baby (you probably can't tell from the pictures...she is 8 months pregnant, however!), so we are glad to see her because we know the she will be busy with the new baby soon!

Under Control

It doesn't seem like too long ago that it was impossible for one person (and hard for two) to keep all three girls happy--especially during the 'witching' hour of 6 pm. Tonight, after Jack fell asleep early (busy weekend!), I was able to go out for a run! The girls are getting easier during the evenings--and I think they behave better for their daddy already ;)

Week-end Wrap-Up

We had visitors this weekend! Our neices are so helpful with the girls and Jack. Mimi and Papa, of course, were too, and the girls and Jack LOVED all the attention.

Five Months

Can't believe the girls are five months old today! I got a few pictures this morning of them sitting together. They are growing up right before our eyes! It seems like everyday they are changing and doing new things. Their favorite things lately are sitting and playing with toys, books, being tickled, cooing, laughing, reaching for objects under their play mat, and lights!

Anna is 8 lbs 15 oz., 22.75" long and her head is 39 cm. Kate is 8 lbs., 22.5" long and her head is 38.5 cm and Elizabeth is 7 lbs. 12.5 oz., 22" and her head is 39 cm. They are wearing newborn and  0-3 month clothing fits them as well.
