FIrst Picnic of the Year

It was so nice today that the kids and I had our first picnic this year. This looks very different from last summer/fall's picnics in that there is no fence surrounding the kids. I guess they have really grown up. I love letting the kids eat outside. It gives me a break from cleaning the kitchen floor. I like to joke that during the nice weather, I try to plan at least one meal away from home (zoo, park, or just in the backyard). On a good day, two meals are outside!
