The Chicken Place

We had to take PeePaw and GeeMaw to the chicken place, but it was closed for the season. So, we tried another restaurant that has good home style chicken. It was very good. PeePaw approved! It was nice to have them stop by our house on their drive home from Christmas. We took them around Bentonville, watched football and played. I think the kids always have a good time with them!

Bump's Stereo

When Bump passed away John wanted his old record player. Well, it was huge so we stored it in the cabin at Grandmoms and Granddad's house. Then, we started moving all over the country so he decided to get rid of it. My mom took each panel of the player and transformed them into picture frames and framed pictures of our kids. We hung them on the stairs. John could tell when he opened the frames they were from Bump. They turned out really nice.

Christmas with PeePaw and GeeMaw

Nope, not done yet! One more celebration. The kids are getting used to this present stuff!

After gifts, the adults went to the annual Cork N Cleaver for dinner. Love this dinner!

Katharine and Keith's Wedding

It has been a while since we have been able to go to a family wedding, so it was very fun to see everyone (again) and the kids loved the dancing. The girls decided to wear some of my old dresses that Grandmom made. I brought a few with me and they all picked out the ones they wanted to wear (no fighting, either!). The Wakefield girls wore some dresses too and Elizabeth Szczepanski. It was a cool thing to see these little ones dressed in these thirty plus some years old dresses. Elyse commented on the dresses saying that little girls dresses are timeless; that they will never go out of style. I have to agree with her. I just love these dresses growing up and now on my girls too.

Jack is such a good looking boy in his jacket and tie.
 Girls' table
There was a table set up with Frozen coloring books and crayons. This was a big hit!

Dancing machines!

Maggie's snowman dress and Elizabeth's santa dress were the dresses Sarah and I wore one Christmas when we were little. I think Julie had a red angel dress that year.
