Christmas at Grandmom and Granddad's House

We did Christmas at Grandmom and Granddads today. We made a turkey and ham dinner first, then opened presents and did the scavenger hunts like we do every year. It was a fun day.

Ambria and Emily entertained the girls in the morning. They were dancing and singing. And they made up a play about indians which we watched before we opened gifts.

 Getting ready for gifts

The start of the play. These were the Indians coming to take the towns people.

The Druelles got a new end table that Grandmom remade for them
 The annual scavenger hunt
Each grandchild had to write three clue about themselves and when Grandmom and Granddad guessed who it was, they played the hot and cold game to find the present they hid. The funny thing is, there was no cross check on where the little kids hid the presents, so when the first child was named (Elizabeth) and the present was found (master bedroom closet) there were five other presents in there. I guess some of the kids decided to hide the presents in the same place!

This was Anna's clue--she was so excited!

These two can make messes quickly!
