Baseball Practice in the Rain?

Well, not really. They did call the end of practice when this storm finally came through!

Addition Updates

Jack's Baseball

Since we had so much rain Friday night, Jack's games were cancelled on Saturday. He played two games today. His first game was against the Yellow Jackets, a team with a lot of players he has played with in the past. Jack had two at-bats and one hit that game. They tied them, 5-5. The second game against the River Dawgs, they lost by one, 5-6. Jack had two at-bats, and one hit that game. They are off next weekend for Memorial Day and then they have five week-end tournaments through the end of June!

Arkansas Storms!

Memorial Day 2017

We had a nice Memorial Day. We left early to pick blueberries from a Friend's farm. The berries are so big and so good! The kids kept saying they taste like candy. We picked two gallons. Then we came back home and had some friends over, the Sullentrup family. The kids swam and we cooked hot dogs and hamburgers and then had a big baseball game in the front yard. It was a beautiful day and the weather was perfect. Aside from Kate's little fall into the pool it was a great way to start summer!

Dallas and PGA

John took Jack and Elizabeth to Dallas to watch the PGA tournament. Jack was excited to go, I think he talked Elizabeth in to going with him. Anna and Kate were a little upset to see Elizabeth go away for the day. In the morning, Elizabeth left a note for them. Kate and Anna stayed back with me and we found some shoes for them, went to High Rise and to lunch with the Rushings before going to Church Saturday evening. We ended the day with ice cream. Sunday we went on a long bike ride before John, Jack and Elizabeth came home. Jack was super excited he got Jack Mickelson's autograph at the tournament!

Little Cheerleaders

The girls have been into cheerleading "stumps" lately. Tonight, they practiced outside for a while. They think it's pretty cool there are three of them to practice these!
