Combat World Series

Jack played in the Combat World Series in Chickasha, OK this weekend. Friday was so hot and humid, it was over 100 degrees. It was also so windy the dirt blew everywhere. Jack started pitching in the first pool play game. He did not do very well, so he was pulled before the inning ended. He walked two, had one hit and allowed one run before he was pulled. He also had two strike outs that game. They did win the game, 12-3. The second game they lost, and Jack had one at-bat and grounded out. The bracket play started on Saturday. The boys lost the first two games. Jack had one strike out and two hits in those games. Sunday morning they played their last game and also lost. Jack  walked once and struck out once in that game. They finished 11th out of 15 teams.

The wind was so bad, the dirt coated us. Christine took off her sunglasses after the first game and she had a line of dirt
