Charleston

We drove to Charleston after the 1500m run on Tuesday. We wanted to do a 13 year old trip for the girls and Marie. We walked to Washington Square, saw the houses on Rainbow row, went to Waterfront Park, saw the pineapple fountain, walked to the Custom House and then we ate some dinner and did a ghost tour in the evening. Back in Greensboro, the meet was postponed because of a parent fight!

On Wednesday, we did some of the museums. We saw the old Slave Mart Museum, the Old Exchange and Provost Dungeon, and the Powder Magazine museum. The kids swam in the afternoon, then we grabbed pizza for the kids and Sarah and I ate a nice dinner at Poogan's Porch. It was a nice place to be for a few days and break from Greensboro which is not very nice (or safe).
