Jack went on his first field trip to Kurtz's Pumpkin Farm today. He went last year here too, but it was still fun for him. They sat through pumpkin school, then got to go out to the field to pick out their very own pumpkin. The kindergartners rode on a bus there and it was funny because the kids were laughing and screaming in delight on the bus, especially when it turned a corner. It was the first time on a bus for many of the kids. Jack got to ride on it with me and it is good practice for him since he will ride a bus to his new school in Avon Lake next month.

Mr. Sordelet, the principle has a daughter in one of the kindergarten classes, so he went on the field trip too. He actually picked out a pumpkin for Jack who was having a hard time deciding on one.
