Kindergarten Graduation

Today was the graduation for the kindergarten graduation. Jack was the second letter "N" in Kindergarten. He (very loudly) said, "N is for next year. First Grade here we come!" Then they sang two songs. One was to the theme of "Start Spreading the News" (imagine, "First grade, first grade for the New York part of that song) and the other was "We're graduating now, we're graduating now. We're going to a first grade class, we're graduating now." It had different verses, like "Our teacher will be nice, etc."

Wow! The year flew by! Jack participated in this program last year too, and he asked me if he would have to do every grade twice...because that would take forever to get through them all. I assured him he would only do the rest only once!

They were all handed their diplomas one at a time and had donuts after. It was cute!

The 8th grade watched their "buddies"

Elizabeth sat on Mr. Curran's lap and the girls sat on the ground next to them while I took pictures. We will miss them!

Catherine came to watch her brother Sean. The girls just love her.

His baby sisters played all afternoon about going to first grade...backpacks and all.

We celebrated at the Curran's for dinner before baseball practice tonight. This is the second night this week we ate together at their house... Not to mention Mary Ann watched the girls this weeks so I could attend Jack's Mexican Fiesta alone. These great friends are going to be missed for sure.
