Recital

The girls had a practice before the actual show. Then, the entire dance studio took a group picture. During the actual show, Kate came up to me (I was standing near the stage on the ground videotaping) and Claire. Claire was helping me with the videos/pictures. She wanted to give Claire and me a kiss. She did this all the time during dance classes this past year. After she finished her routine, she would run to me to give me a "smooch," then go back to what she was doing. So, I guess she thought no different during the show! The girls did well and had so much fun. It was so nice to have Mimi and Claire there to see them dance "like beautiful ballerinas" in their words.

The cookies afterwards were a big hit too, of course!
