Disney~Friday February 26th HOLLYWOOD STUDIOS

So, we reached the last day. And it started early! We got to Hollywood Studios about 8:05 in the morning before the park opened at 9. We were told to get there early to wait in line for the gates to open so we could sign up for the Jedi Training because it fills up quick. They let us in around 8:20 just to sign up for the training, then we grabbed some coffee and hot chocolate before they let us walk around the park. Right when it opened at 9, we headed to Toy Story Mania because we heard that ride gets really crowded. It was like a video game and we had to shoot at targets and it kept track of our points. We waited about an hour to ride it--it was crazy how fast the line formed. Right when we finished, we used our fast passes to ride it again  (by then the wait was almost two hours). Then, we headed to the Tower of Terror to use our fast passes. The kids all loved the elevator dropping us up and down a few times. Mimi was nervous, but as we were walking in, we saw an older man pulling an oxygen tank and John said, "Mom, I think you will be okay on this one." Mimi sat next to Anna and thinking she would be scared, she held her hand, but right before the elevator dropped, Anna was pulling away to lift her hands over her head! Then we headed to the Jedi Training. The kids were handed robes and then they marched through the park until they got to the training center. The kids were given instructions on how to master the Force. There was a special appearance by Darth Vader and the Seventh Sister Inquisitor and the kids tested their lightsaber skills. They all succeeded and earned certificates decreeing they are true Jedi Knights. It was really cute to watch them. The girls were referred to as "the three clones near the front" as they were trained. The girls have not ever watched Star Wars but they still had a lot of fun. Later in the day, while we were watching the Beauty and the Beast show, Kate decided to use the Force to stop Beast and put out the fire, which happened to go out at the same time as she stretched out her arm. She was so proud and so were her sisters that she learned to use the Force correctly to do good. Anna kept talking about using the Force at school, too. It was pretty funny.

After Jedi Training, we headed to the Frozen sing-along show. It was very good. Of course the girls were singing at the top of their lungs. Near the end, it started to "snow" (bubbles) which was a nice touch to the performance. Then it was time for lunch at Disney Jr. Play 'N Dine. The kids got to meet Jake, Sofia, Handy Manny, and Doc McStuffins. Jack used to love Jake and the Neverland Pirates so we got a cute picture of just him with Jake. After lunch we did the Disney Jr. Live on Stage show. Then we headed to Voyage of the Little Mermaid show while John and Jack went to Star Tours to use our final fast passes. We met back up and tried to schedule another fast pass, but most everything was sold out except for the Fantasmic show, so we booked those to get some good seats. We had some time before the Beauty and the Beast show, so we walked over to watch a stunt show, but about half-way through, they had to cancel the rest of the show because they couldn't get one of the trucks on the stage to start to move it. It was a little odd. But, that gave us enough time to get to Beauty and the Beast show which we did watch. Then John and the kids went back to the tower of terror while Mimi and I relaxed with a drink for a few minutes!

Fantasmic started at dark which featured Mickey the sorcerer. It showed his dreams set to music with lights and water projections. It is based off the movie Fantasia. At one point the water was on fire which was pretty cool. After the show, we caught the fireworks before heading back to the hotel. Boy were we tired!
