Disney~Tuesday February 23 EPCOT

We didn't start as early today, which was nice because the kids were able to sleep in (until 7 or so). We had breakfast in our room and then caught the shuttle to Epcot. We got there around 9:45. We took some pictures behind the huge ball (Spaceship Earth) and then headed to our first fast pass which was inside the ball. It was a slow moving ride that took us though all the modern inventions of transportation and computers which lead to spaceship travel. It was pretty neat. After that ride, we went to Turtle Talk with Crush which we had a fast pass for later in the day, but the wait was only 20 minutes, so we decided to do it then. It was very cool. The kids loved it. Crush interacted with the kids in the audience and was very funny. Then we headed to test track. This was by far the favorite for the kids. We first designed our own car and then we were able to test drive it on the track. It was actually all computerized, but it was very cool. At the end of the ride, it gave an overall "winner" of the designed cars. The kids really loved this one the best because of the fast driving of the car. It was pretty exciting.

After Test track, it was time to find some lunch. We headed to Mexico and grabbed some nachos, tacos, beans and quesadillas. During lunch, it rained briefly, so thankfully we missed getting wet. After lunch, we walked around the "world." We met Donald Duck in Mexico, saw a juggler act (I think) in Norway, walked through the house that inspired Frozen in Norway and then we got fast passes to meet Mickey, Minne and Goofy. After making it all the way around the world, John, Jack and Mimi went on the boardwalk through the international gateway to the ESPN club for dinner, while the girls and I went to the Princess Storybook Dining at Akershus Royal Banquet Hall in Norway. I again did the girls' hair before we went. The girls met Belle, Aurora, Snow White, Cinderella and Ariel during dinner. They also paraded around the Banquet Hall with the princesses.

Once dinner was over, and we met back up with the others, we decided not to stick around for the fireworks at 9:00, we were just too tired. So we headed back to the hotel and the kids, once again, swam for a bit before getting showers and heading to bed.

Anna picked out this dog as part of the money she was given from Mimi. She loved it!

Elizabeth picked out this doll with Mimi's disney dollars. It is Aurora on one side and Ariel on the other. Kate picked out the princess that is Belle on one side and Cinderella on the other. And Anna (on the last day decided she wanted the doll that was Anna on one side and Elsa on the other, while Kate and Elizabeth ended up with a baby Simba that was very similar to Anna's baby Lady dog)
