We did a ton of walking today, like 11 miles. First, we did a walking tour of Rome and saw The Trevi Fountain (the kids threw two coins in to find true love!), the Piazza Sant'Ignazio with the painted dome because they ran out of money for a real one, and the Pantheon. We grabbed lunch and then walked to Colosseum. We got tickets online and walked to the Forum for a while waiting to go into the Colosseum. When we went in line for the Colosseum, they wouldn't let Jack in because his passport said John and he had put Jack in when he bought the ticket online. They never had heard that Jack is a nickname for John (But they let in Kate, and Lizzy). He had to go buy another ticket! Inside the Colosseum, we could see all the rooms underground because the floor was gone. 400,000 people died in the Colosseum! After, we walked back to the apartment, very tired!
