Busy Week

We have gone nonstop this week. Today I had to take the van into the dealership after taking Jack to school. The girls were pretty good--just really loud as usual. Then I cleaned out under my steps and got some things organized for tornado season. I think we will be spending a lot of time under the steps. They call a lot of watches/warnings here, I'm learning. Thankfully, there are not many tornadoes, but you can never be too prepared. We were under a tornado watch all day today. John said the sirens went off a few times here last spring/summer. Girls had swimming and dance then we went down to Fayetteville to set up for the Twins' sale that is this weekend. I got done early, so we made out way back to school. While waiting for Jack, the girls played at school on the playground. It was hot today--82 degrees! The cold front is coming just in time for our northern visitors, however. It is a high of 58 tomorrow. The cold front mixing with warm front caused severe weather intermittently this evening. We just had thunderstorms (no hail or damaging winds or tornadoes). I took some pictures after the storms.

Elizabeth was pouting because she didn't have a "big" stuffed animal to play with.

I had to text this picture to Aunt Julie today
They wanted to hold hands going down the slide

Looking from the side and you could see the lighter towards the north and darker in the south
Jack talks Kate into sleeping with him at night because he is scared (Kate is not, but agrees for his sake). Here is how John found them later on when he got home.
