On the Eve of First and Third Grade

Wow, the summer sure did go fast! I spent today getting lunches packed and bags packed up and clothes all organized for tomorrow morning so it will go as smoothly as possible. The kids wanted to have a lemonade stand and they made $18.50 while I kept busy inside. After lunch of their choice (Panda Express), they decided to spend their money on gum balls and little toys from Walton 5&10. Jack got an eraser and Elizabeth and Anna got a coin purse and Kate picked out a stuffed animal (just what we need!).  After baths, we went to meet their teachers and drop off their supplies. The girls teacher is Ms. Seiler who they wanted and their friend Emma is in their class. Jack got Mrs. Kordsmeier. He was a little bummed his buddy Jack was not in his class, but he has a few other boys he really likes.

I put notes in the their lunches on the first day

Looking through last year's yearbook--preparing for tomorrow!

Snacks packed. Bags ready. Jack chose to leave his bag at school tonight so he won't have to carry it tomorrow.
