Updates on the Triplets

The days are flying by! December is here and the girls are all doing new things!

The girlies are walking! Anna is doing great--she walks everywhere and hardly ever crawls. Kate has really stepped it up in the last few days and she walks almost as well as Anna! We always knew she was the strongest and once she decided to walk, she would take off and she did! Elizabeth--well, she gets bonus points for being the cutest walker. She has her arms straight out like a mummy, her knees bent and with each step she gets lower and lower to the ground. She also "cheers" herself on while she walks. But, she is DETERMINED to walk like her sisters. She is the weakest of the three, but tries the hardest!

Kate now stands and dances. It is even cuter than her dancing while sitting. She looks at us while dancing too--like she knows she is being super cute. She recently got tooth number three and four (top central incisors).

Anna has her top two first molars coming in (number seven and eight). They have just broken the skin, but she has been so happy lately, you would never know it. She also said her first word today, ut oh. (By the way, Elizabeth still has her mouthful of teeth--leading the pack with 12)

All three ladies will point to their heads, diapers and bellies when asked. Elizabeth knows where her nose is. They blow kisses, wave hi and bye and play peek-a-boo. Anna will sign please. All three will put a phone to their ear and "talk". Elizabeth actually sounds like she is saying "Hi" when the phone is on her ear. They love to look out the window, especially when the cat is sitting right outside. Anna in the last few days does a real one-finger point and likes to point outside the window. All three will go to the window when I ask if Jack is coming home. They follow simple commands, like 'go get me your diaper', or 'go get your water'.

They play some together, but they are learning to fight. One mother of triplets told me, "welcome to parenting triplets, this is normal." I can see we will have our work cut out for us with these three!

Here are a few pictures from yesterday and today.
