I ran the Chicago Half Marathon today. That's 13.1 miles. This is my 5th half marathon that I have finished, but I have never finished under two hours. And all my previous runs were before the four children. My time: 1:56:47. This is about a 8:55 min/mile pace. That time puts me in the top 15% of women in general and women in my age group and top 25% of all the participants in general. Honestly, I am glad it is over! I remember now after the race why it has been six years since I last ran one...I have to forget how hard they are before I sign up for another one! Here is a link to the results:
