Thursday Afternoon

Thursday afternoon, Jack, Grandmom and I went to Central Dupage Hospital so Jack could go through a Pre-Op Adventure. We have talked about the surgery for the last few weeks, but Jack really didn't understand it. The hospital offered a class for kids who are having surgery so we decided to take Jack there. It was good for Jack to see the equipment, meet the nurses and see the hospital. They even gave him some surgery masks, shoe covers and head covers to play with at home.

Jack at home all dressed up with his surgery gear.
Since Grandmom was occupying Jack with the applesauce making, I got to spend some time with the girls. When I sit on the floor with them, they all crowd me and try to sit on my lap at once!
Lately, Elizabeth and Anna will come up to me, put their head on the ground and I will do a forward roll with them. They love it!

When we were getting them ready for bed, all the girls were trying to put their dresses over their heads again. It was funny to watch. This little bucket with peek-a-blocks is a favorite of the girls. They crawl over to it, stand up and pull out the blocks and balls one at a time. They will then throw it behind them and empty the whole bucket. Elizabeth will shake each one and likes it when they make noise. Below, Elizabeth is playing with another favorite toys of the girls. A little plastic container filled with play kitchen utensils. The girls will play with these for a while!
