No School Friday

Since there was no school today, we decided to take all the kids to the zoo and the Scudder kids came with us. It was such a fun day! We met there after getting flu shots this morning. We went to the dolphin show first. We have been members at the zoo for two years and we have not made it to one of the shows. Last year it was closed and once the girls were born, it was impossible to take them to one. But, with all the extra hands, we all went inside and watched the show. Jack loved the dolphins. Anna was clapping for them, Elizabeth was watching them and smiling and Kate was excited to see them jump. After a quick lunch, we saw a few animals and then we all took a ride on the carousel. I have never been able to take the girls on the carousel either, simple math: two adults and three girls. Today, we took them and Elizabeth was ALL smiles. In fact, she cried when I took her off once it was over. Kate was dancing to the music and Anna held on tightly and liked it OK. I think she was getting tired. Tonight after dinner the cousins came back and entertained the girls outside in their little cars. They had them laughing and shrieking! It was a great day!

Kate. She's funny in these cars. She won't hold on to the wheel.
Elizabeth about jumps out of her seat in excitement!
Anna is a serious driver.
