Lake Erie Boat Ride to Cleveland

One of the partners John works with has been asking to take John and the kids and I on his boat. Today, after a hot T-ball game in the morning, we met him and his wife at the Yacht Club where they keep their boat. He let Jack drive about 75% of the trip to Cleveland which Jack LOVED.  This is Jack's dream, to drive anything! In fact, he told me recently that he didn't want to go to kindergarten again next year because he wants to hurry and get big like me so he can drive a car...after telling him he would have to wait until 11th grade to drive if he went on to first grade next year or go to kindergarten again and he would drive in 10th grade he decided it was OK to go to kindergarten again. Actually, he also wanted a song book in church--because first graders get song books, kindergartners do not. I think we can fix that. Anyway, Jack had a blast! The girls, despite the life jackets being slightly too large, did very well. Anna just laughed and laughed! After we go back, we got some ice cream. It was fun. Jack must have asked us 25 times when we will go on the boat again and the girls kept saying, "morrow."
