Jack scored 10 points at his Upward game this week. The Warriors (Boys and Girls Club) suffered their first loss of the season to a tough team this week. It was a great game, very competitive and physical. It was a low scoring game as both teams played very well. I was disappointed to see the other team coaches not rotate their best three players out the entire game...and yell at the referee for not calling traveling. At one point, I thought he was going to be kicked out. Jack's coaches this year have been great, thank goodness! Jack played two quarters in this game, but didn't score. It was a good learning experience for him to play with such quick players.

There is one Upward game left on Saturday. The Boys and Girls Club tournament begins this weekend. The Warriors were seeded three, I believe. If they win Saturday, they play Monday, then Thursday. Should be an exciting end to the basketball season.
