Championship Game

Jack won his game tonight. This win advances them to the final Championship game for first and second grade boys. It was a fairly close game. Jack didn't score any points, but had a few steals and rebounds.

He also learned first hand what a technical is. The teams that played before his game had a very close game and had a crazy ending. The number one seeded team's coach got a technical with 1.5 seconds left of the clock with the score tied for screaming "a bad word" (thankfully Jack actually missed the actual word) in the referee's face (remember these are 7/8 year old boys). Anyway, the little boy missed his first free throw, but made his second and they got the ball back, the clock ran out and they won the game by one point. The team they beat had not lost all season (and was our team's only loss). We were glad not to have to face them in the championship game this Thursday!

These boys were excited after their win tonight. One more game of the season!
