Cedar Point!

Last year for Christmas, we gave my parents the gift of "time." So, with the Druelle's, we took them to Cedar Point for a day and Soak City on day two. I don't have any pictures of Soak City because it was too hard watching the kiddos, but it was very fun for the kids. My children loved the slides and splashing in the water. Unfortunately, our tradition of someone getting sick was true again--this time my mom had contracted the stomach virus the morning after Cedar Point before going to Soak City.

Cedar Point was fun but tiring.  We had so many different age groups that is was a bit of a challenge.  But with all of our kids we walked through the gates of the park at 9:55am and walked back out at 10:05pm!  That in itself is quite an accomplishment!  We didn't think we would make it the whole time but we did.  There were plenty of rides that the little girls could ride on and they loved it.  The next group was Abby and Jack, they could go on a few more rides and some small roller coasters......which they both loved! The girls loved the rides at Kiddie Kingdom the most. They cold ride any ride without waiting and they thought they were so cool riding in the cars there. We also went to Camp Snoopy and the girls could do many of the rides there. Jack did too. He was in-between the height requirement so he could do very few of the big roller coasters---although he did have fun on the Iron Dragon. He and Abby rode the Jr. Gemini twice and they let Anna ride that one even though she is not quite 36 inches. She loved it! Uncle Jeremy, John and Granddad rode just about every major roller coaster there and loved them all!
