Earings!

Today we went to the mall to get the girls ears pierced! Maria went with us so there were four little girls ready to go. The Frazier girls met us at the mall and took the ones waiting to the candy store to distract them. They were a lifesaver! After getting their ears pierced, they could pick out some candy. Anna said she wanted to go first. She climbed up on the chair and as soon as they started to put the dots on the ears, she said Kate could go. So Kate climbed up, sat there and was very still for the piercing. Afterwards, she sat in the chair for a few seconds and I picked her up and she had a few tears but was fine in a few minutes. Anna came in a gain and was ready to try, but she didn't let them put the dots on her ears, so Elizabeth was next. She was fine up until the piercing and she immediately cried. I picked her up and she was fine. I wasn't sure Anna was going to go through with it, but she climbed up and let them pierce them. She cried a bit, too. Maria was last and she reacted much like Kate. Just a few tears, she hid her face, but was happy again in a few minutes. All the girls picked out their earrings. Kate and Anna picked up the same earrings (pink flowers) and Elizabeth picked out blue flowers. They were very proud of their pretty ears!

Marie joined up with us, but she decided she didn't want to get her ears pierced. We let the girls ride the carousal and we went to see Santa. After leaving the mall, we took them to Jungle George's to let the girls burn off some energy! It was a fun morning spent with the girls.
