St. Nick's Morning

It was an early morning to see what St. Nick brought the kids. Jack loved his new safe with a lock. He will have to learn how to do the combination on the lock, but I am sure it won't be long. He loves to mess with it. The girls liked their new purses and jewelry.

Oh, and Randall sent a note from Santa saying he would drop off our gifts at our house, but to bring our stockings and he would fill them. Jack was relieved!

Jack's safe actually has a turning locker lock.

Kate woke up later not feeling the best. But she loved her new purse.

Dancing to the Polar Express (Kate is feeling much better).

Showing me her new tiny purse.

By the way, I have been meaning to post about these girls. They are becoming so independent. Every afternoon we pick out their clothes for the next day and every morning they get up and get dressed and play together before coming into our room. It is one of the only times of the day they don't fight and play really well together. We let them play because it usually quite early in the morning. We have realized they wake each other up...so whatever time the first one gets up is everyone's wake-up time. And Jack has always been an early riser, so our household is up before six most days. That is one reason for early bedtimes---and quiet evenings.
