After getting off the Island, we drove over the Mackinaw Bridge. We thought Jack would like to see the Bridge. After getting to the Upper Peninsula, we turned around and drove to Traverse City--out next destination. We checked into the Great Wolf Lodge. The hotel was very kid-friendly. There was a large water park and a game called Quest that the older kids played when they were not swimming. This game required you buy wands and roam the hotel looking for secrets, objects and collecting coins along the way. You could get points and advance to different levels. We took the kids to the water area which was a great set-up for our little children. The girls loved the zero entry pool and splash pad. Elizabeth splashed and splashed and was shivering, but that didn't stop her! They also each took a turn going down the baby slide. Kate was the biggest fan of the slide, Anna only went down twice and cried and Elizabeth liked it OK. She kept turning over onto her belly, so I think she would like it more if she stayed sitting up.
Anna and Kate. The girls are so busy! They really required one-on-one attention in the water.
